Understanding this trend, Google introduced a feature in October 2023 allowing businesses to integrate social media links into their Google Business Profiles.

What’s New?

Businesses can now seamlessly incorporate their social media links into Google Listings, appearing both in Google Search and Maps. Currently, Google accommodates links from these platforms:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • Pinterest
  • TikTok
  • X (previously known as Twitter)
  • YouTube

How to Integrate Your Socials:

  1. Access Google Business Profile.
  2. Choose your business listing.
  3. Hit ‘Edit profile’.
  4. Enter the ‘Contact’ section.
  5. Navigate to ‘Social profiles’.
  6. Remember: Only one link is permitted for each social platform.
